“I am really happy with my Sense S2 unit.
The PH and Chlorine measurements seem accurate and consistent. Not as convinced with the other 3 measurements as they are very different to my local pool supply analysis.
Had some small issues setting the measurements time but that was very quickly sorted out by a great support team.
Really like the trend graphs and push notifications after the scheduled measurements have been completed.
Really happy that it does not require a subscription other than having to buy the test cartridges. This really works well.

“I have been using the SENSE S2 for a few weeks now and on the edge of whether I wanted to return it in the 30-day window. I have been using the Lamotte ColorQ 2x, which I really like. I can't use test strips too well since i'm color blind, so the ColorQ 2x tells me exactly what it sees and transfers it to my phone. you do to replace the C5 Cassette on the SENSE S2 every 30 readings, if you do once a day, then it will last 30 days. If you are trying to correct some chemistry and ask it to read more, it may just last 3 weeks like mine did. The readings are just "OK" in accuracy. For example, this is what i got on my most recent reading within 30 min of each other.
SENSE 2 ColorQ 2x
FC = 0 FC = 0.4
TCL = 1.48
CCL = 1.08
PH = 7.6 PH = 7.4
CYA = 19 CYA = 10
CH = 336 CH = 314
I use a silver/copper ionizer, so I keep my FC at about .4 to .8, I don't think the S2 reads to the 10th. Ph seems to consistantly be off by a couple 10ths. I'm not too worried about CYA as I try to keep my FC levels low. Calcium hardness is probably within error limits.
Overall the SENSE S2 is an easy to use device with OK accuracy. I wish it would read FC, TC and Combined chlorine.
I'm thinking I"m going to keep it just to give me a rough idea of what my pool chemistry is doing, but I will likely continue to use the ColorQ every week or so.”

“The product was not well calibrated and the numbers I received did not match my numbers. I did myself or with my pool system when I contacted Support they said that it could be up to 10% off and that’s within their specs which I completely disagree because 10% on pH is abysmal of a degree off and dangerous if someone doesn’t understand it.”

“At first I would check the water manually to verify , the results were the same . So now I check manually every 2 weeks . I make minor adjustments daily and pool perfectly balanced . It’s so easy to trend the values on the phone w notifications”
