Newer S2 model seems to be more consistent as far as maintaining contact with home network and sending regular Chemical readings. I am concerned about the burn rate on the batteries as the batch I used when replacing the old unit went out fast

I really love the Guru….it makes everything easy…I do get different numbers when I go to Leslie’s after a measurements however the numbers are similar. I have done away with my pool service. Customer service is very friendly when I called about the alkalinity not reading, they walked me through a troubleshooting and it works. The only thing is, I want more c5 cassettes. All in all thank you water guru… my pool has never looked better!!!!

Love it. Sames me time and concern about reading test strips correctly since I don't have to do that now. I do wish the Sense S2 cartridges were available. I like to be able to test the five different chemicals vs. just two.

When all you had to worry about was chlorine and PH you simply walked the line with chlorine tabs and ph up or down. Now I know about all the other parts that need attention and guess what, chasing numbers, buying other chemicals and trying to get it all balanced. Bottom line, the S2 is great but be ready for more info and what comes with it.

I've been trying to get my chemical levels correct for a month. The sense 2 says one thing and Pinch a Penny says something completely different. I'm ready to dump the sense and trust the experts.

Bought Sense 2 with C5 cassette since it gave 5 tests that would help keep pool in balance. I was particularly interested in CYA readings. C5 cartridges haven't been in stock for months which defeats the $300+ purchase. Had to "downgrade" to C2 cartridge which only does 2 tests which I could do with my old digital device (which also gave me alkalinity). After buying I find out that outside of the 2 tests the c2 does the other 3 tests are still being "calibrated". So what did I really buy? Then when I put in the C2 cartridge the readings were quite a bit different than the C5 readings from a few days earlier. Questioning the accuracy. I want the product to be useful and successful but concerned it was launched by the company before it was ready and able to deliver on it's promise. My main advice to the company is to not let the quality drift while getting out of this dilemma - the whole sell proposition is quick, reliable & accurate testing, Without that it's a $300+ toy.
