Only had the unit a short time but it has helped get our pool stabilized. We get inches of rain at a time and the sun always shine so the chemistry is important. Sense keeps it in line with there analysis and helpful tips. Would prefer to only buy the c5 cassette onlly as it provides more complete information.

When they work they work good. We have had to replace the sense s2 twice. The company does stand by their product and the support is very good.

this upgraded version of this pool chemical monitor works great! It tucks neatly away in the skimmer cavity and monitors the pool and several more chemical components than the older version. Misusers and reports to your varoious smart devices timely. It's a great time saver and very helpful in making sure you pool is up to snuff!

Overall pretty happy, but trying to learn the best way to react to the readings. My advise so far is to get a couple days of readings before doing the recommendations. Example we got a reading of extremely low PH, advised to add seven cups of PH increased, did that and the next days readings then showed we were extremely high on PH. One reading showed CYA was high, glad I didn’t drain a few feet of water out( only way to correct per Leslie’s Pool) because a day or two later it was reading normal again. It’s only been a month so I will try to be fair and give it some more time to learn the best way to react to the readings.

The product is not 100% accurate based on lab testing and test kits but is close. Would be good for a general overview and there is a lot of potential for this product.

I’ve had the sense S2 for about 6 weeks. Had to send first one back because it was burning through batteries. Customer service was great and handled it seamlessly. Biggest issue is that when I compare Sense measurements with running through computer at Leslie’s all the levels are off by significant amounts, which I wasn’t expecting. Looking at cost of cassette (which are still out of stock), battery cost and lack of complete measurements that are also off, don’t see the value in keeping it. I may be returning.

After having Sense 1 for over three years, Inwas told it died and needed to purchase a new unit. Water Guru gave me some good discounts but....They sell you a unit that uses two different cartridges. The C5 unit doesn't measure CYA like it's designed to!! They are aware of the problem and supposedly working to resolve the issue but thus far have not successes. It's basically measuring the same as the Sense 1! Why they would sell a unit that's somewhat defective is beyond me!
