If you have trouble comparing the dipstick colors for pool chemical monitoring, then you will love the Sense 2. No more second guessing the value and you will know exactly how to fix any problems. It couldn't be easier or more reliable. We are so happy we found Waterguru.

The sense 2 has a new battery compartment and works very well. Very satisfied with the new model.

I purchase two of the Sense S2 devices (one for the pool and one for the spa). I was having difficulty keeping the water balance in the spa stabilized since displaced water drains out when people are in it and then the autofill adds fresh water. I still have the pool company coming weekly to test the water and see if the Guru is in agreement. So far, the judgement is still out. The pH seems to be reasonably accurate. However, the free chlorine is off, the total alkalinity doesn't appear to always be in agreement. I frankly am not quite sure what to think. I love being able to get the feedback daily on my phone, but I'm not sure if the data I'm receiving can be relied on.

Had te old ,odel and uits radio craped out un a year, wasnt too upset because its functionality was limited . bough the new modem due to its enhanced finctions of measuring alkalinity etc but then find out they cabnd delive ron replace emtn carytriges unless you but the ner useless combo pack that only measured half of the desired items I purhcased it to read in the firts place. In summary: Grat idea, works well when it workds and you can get consumable cartruiges for it (other wise you need to break out your pool teasing kit anyways and tht defeaths the entire purpose of buying the dam thing). The product is proces right but consuumables are in short suppply and pricey to boot. For a quick ph glance, temp check, chlorine level check its great but as to being a cure all and eliminating the need for manual water teting it fail;s miserably since you cant get the cartridges for it for those functions ao overall depending on your desired use iots good for some quickies but definatly not a cure all pool testing kit eliminator - at least n ot right now. I get that the testng cassetes are thioer cash cow but besides being costly they cant even deliver them. Dissapointed in the longevity ogf my last one so time will tell if this one cuts the mustard or drops dead also on its first birthday.

Love the concept and how easy it is to use. Was able to install and use quickly. Not so sure on accuraccy, for example my Sense 2 indicates my phosphates are zero but my pool water testing service says they were over 250. I know they were correct because as I used phospahte remover chemicals my reading came down to unedr 100 while Sense2 remained at zero. You also came up short on cassette replacement, replace after 30 days but your website was out of stock for the ones I wanted. Settled for different replacement cassettes. Not a good experience for a new customer. Overall I really do like the convience of the Sense 2.

The SENSE 2 improves upon the original SENSE WaterGuru by adding 3 additional tests. But, you're not required to use the newer cartridges every time. Personally I am using the SENSE 2 cartridge that came with the unit until it's exhausted, then I'll switch to the SENSE 1 cartridge and use 2 of those before putting in another SENSE 2. That way, I'll be testing continuously for PH and Free Chlorine, but only doing the other tests every 3 months.

This has helped me not have to guess at managing my pool. I am a new pool owner and cannot recommend this enough.
