“Unit works great. It tells me to add too much chemical to get to the desired PH and it ends up way too high or way to low. I am going to start by adding 1/4 of what it tells me to add. Other than that, it works great.”
“Cassette malfunction within 1 week. Said will send me new one, been 1 week still not here back to California it says. Hard to reach someone from customer service. Worked good for the couple of days.”
“This is my second season using a Water Guru for daily monitoring. First season went very well, I enjoyed having my water tested automatically on a daily basis. Fast forward to this spring. Opened my pool, set up the Water Guru(new batteries, new cartridge) and it wouldn't sync up via blutooth or wifi. Can't fault Water Guru customer service, they sent me a new unit free of charge. New unit worked seamlessly for a week then it quit measuring water metrics automatically and manual measuring is hit or miss. Sometimes it works, most days it doesn't. I've done all the trouble shooting hints on the app and am getting nowhere. Great product when it worked, very accurate.”
“I suddenly had a change in my unit’s ability to communicate. It was just sporadic. Tech support was great walking me thru trouble shooting. At the end, it appeared it needed to be replaced. Although it was just out of warranty they offered to send me a new updated unit. Such great support.”
“I've had this about two weeks and already need a cartridge replacement so not thrilled about that. I also haven't gotten good customer service from the chat or from sending a message. It would be better if the readings recommended the chemicals needed right there in the app but it doesn't. For example, it says I'm low on cyanuric acid but doesnt tell me how to fix it, where to buy etc. so I still need to go to a pool store to figure it out. What good is this if it doesn't make the process easier?”

“The S2 unit is well made and very helpful for maintaining the condition of your pool water. Takes a couple of weeks to get the water chemically stable, but then it's good. I know their business model is a subscription type service that keeps you buying cassettes frequently. I don't believe it is necessary to check your water daily if you are not a commercial pool. It would be nice if you could select an every couple days option, and therefore the cassette would last longer.”
