“If you are not in Bluetooth range, it can take hours to get results. Sometimes you have to reset both the app and the device. Not all things described are measured either. Overall cool idea with a mediocre results”
“When the unit works it is great. I get daily readings of my chemicals and 30 minute updates on my pool temp. However, I had 3 units replaced in 3 weeks due to power issues. The company determined it was somehting on their end as the units would not even power up right out of the box. They were great and replaced them without issue. It was just a pain to deal with this issue for 3 weeks straight. this is not a cheap toy as this unit costs about $250. So far the latest one has been working for the past 10 days so lets hope there are no more issues. Like i said once they work it is nice to have for the summer”
“I have never in my life had such trouble and difficulty with any customer service representative. "Alice" seemed intentionally to give me the run-around. It took 16 emails to get the replacement parts I needed. Even when I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was denied that. I was always polite and professional. I was met with stone-walling, pretend misunderstandings, bait-and-switch tactics. At one point, I was even told by "Alice" to commit fraud, by knowingly sending used goods back to Amazon! All I wanted was my defective machine replaced. It took two weeks and a lot of unnecessary headaches.”
“Simple to use, love having an updated analysis every morning (I set the sample time) along with hints as to what I should do to fix any problems.
I have an above ground pool so unit floats rather than being inserted in the skimmer return line. Only annoyance is the unit usually shows low flow even though my return flow is max.”
“The Sense S2 is an awesome product and shows chemical measurements and advise how to bring your pool back into balance. The app is great and has taught me how to balance the pool. I would like to give a five star review, however, the battery life SUCKS!! I have to change the batteries approximately EVERY 7 to 10 days.
UPDATE: customer service contacted me within a few hours of this post and sent a replacement for the Sense 2. I am very impressed with customer service! I’ll send another update once I put in the replacement device and see if battery life improves.”

“The water temperature shows 4 degrees higher compared to 2 thermometers in the water and the Pentair pool system. Also I wish the app showed all 5 circle or line graphs (FC, pH, TA, CYA, CH) in one window.”
