“The device is fabulous for monitoring the pool chemistries..the service. Is also excellent.. recently my device failed and the company quickly provided a brand new replacement. I am very pleased with Sense S2”
“The Sense 2 has been redesigned to better hold the batteries in place which was an issue for me with the original Sense. The upgrade also allows for a longer period of measure of all chemical readings using the C5 cassette. This gives me much more confidence in the chemical balance over the 2 months using the C2 cassettes”
“But the product might be ok. I got roughly 15 marketing emails between ordering and receiving the product, which is annoying and abusive. Only after prodding them several times did I get it. The actual product seems like it will be useful, although I’d like some specs on accuracy and precision. Their competitor for most of us is test strips. How about some real data on that. Who much do I trust your results? Graphs are mostly good but a little cartoonish. I’d rather have proper graphs where you can read numbers easily, not just color coded zones. I don’t like the ink jet model they use w a constant need to buy a consumable. I’ll switch to any product without this running cost in a second if someone makes it.”
“I dumped Sutro after 2 years. It wasn't reading right and customer service was a joke. I actually used the readings from Water Guru to show them how off Sutro was, and verified it with a test from my local pool store. Water Guru has a much better app too. AND... as a bonus, it's cheaper with Water Guru! Sutro base plan was $30/month. Water Guru is $10/month if you consider the cartridges are only $20 and can last up to 2 months. I hope the product will last over time but so far amazing experience.”
