I love how the Sense helps keep my water balanced. I do as it recommends, and the water remains perfect. I do wish it had a setting that would allow me to test the water every 2 to 3 days versus every day. I think it is overkill to test the water daily.

I have been using the SENSE for three years and LOVE IT. Very reliable. I have done one change and removed the padding where the water passes through the device for testing since it gets clogged very often. Not I have no issues. I wish the test tape inside the cassettes were numbered so I knew how many are left.

It’s great to know at a glance what the chemical situation is

Keeping an eye on your pool’s chlorine level, PH, and temperature has never been easier. This monitoring system also measures the pool’s water flow. So, if your water level is getting low due to evaporation (for the days you are not in it), you will see an alert in the mobile app after your scheduled measurement is recorded. WaterGuru even provides a postage paid mail-in kit to get a complete chemical reading of your pool that will automatically get loaded into the app. The best part of owning a WaterGuru SENSE is that you will get an actual and accurate chlorine level reading without having to compare color strips, especially for a salt chlorinated pool. There is one thing you should note…. Just like test strips, the cartridges have limit number of test that it can run (about 170 or two months). So, you will have to purchase new cartridges. It’s about $50.00 for a pack of three, but that is more than enough for a summer season. Also with every cartridge purchase you get a couple of free pre-paid mail-in pool testing kits for a complete chemical reading of your pool. With that said, WaterGuru SENSE is still worth the investment.

Like the device. Concerned about the use expectancy of the cartridges. Would like to see status of alkalinity levels. Just ordered three replacements. Delivery charges are a tad expensive. Overall satisfied with what I have seen so far.

I don't understand why WaterGuru continues to ask me to rate/review this product, but this is my 3rd time. Each time they lose a star. When I got this thing, I fell in love with it and gave it 5 stars. When it works, it works well. Each day I get a reading for the pH, chlorine levels, and pump flow (determines if you need to clean the filter). Early on I had some connectivity issues that WaterGuru helped me fix by relocating my WiFi repeater. Ever since it's worked very reliably. My issue NOW is that this is powered by 4 C batteries in a relatively "open air" compatment. Often after a heavy rain, I'll notice that this unit is no longer powered up. I have determined that water gets into the battery compatment. Remember that this thing replaces your skimmer lid so it sits right at the the pool deck level. In a heavy rain, my marble paver pool deck can have a 1/4" of water on it so this water finds its way into the battery compartment of the SENSE unit. To fix it, I typically just need to open it up and wipe it dry, then replace the batteries. What they should have done was seal in a rechargable battery and put a waterproof Mini-USB connector on it so I can pull it out and recharge it every couple of months.
