SENSE S2 Reviews

4.2 Rating 447 Reviews
The WaterGuru Sense makes balancing the ph and chlorine very easy. Each day I get an update which not only lets me know if they are too high or too low, but has also helped me learn what settings to use on the chlorine generator and how much acid to put into the pool every other day to keep it perfectly balanced. The cartridges are a bit expensive and they have glitched toward the end a few times, telling me I had days left but I did not get any readings. But overall I cannot imagine ever going back to pool samples and reagents again.

I have left message with the customer support folks on both Tuesday and Wednesday and still can’t get a call back.

You should be able to change how often you need your water tested. Everyday is a bit excessive and doubles the costs of the cassettes. That is the only drawback i have found with the device.

Until I actually reach the owner of the company you customer service sucks. I have reached out to CS numerous times and I always get “we are busy”. Yesterday I called and left a message and got a call back after hours to tell me that my “message was incomplete” what ever that means. You obviously had my phone number so what was incomplete to receive a call back from a real person . Your product is just OK in concept, but not great in actual practice and your customer service leaves a lot to be desired. K

Our pool was built before any of the automated chemical systems were available or affordable so I am always looking for a better way to manage my pool’s chemistry. When I learned of WaterGuru, I decided to give a go and I am really glad I did. This summer was by far the easiest ever to manage my chemicals (chlorine) and that includes the years I paid a service to do it. WaterGuru learned my pool schedule and everyday sent me a notice with what adjustments were needed and how much to add. I was able to keep the chlorine and pH balanced in the ideal range all summer with no big swings for the first time ever. This is definitely a viable alternative to expensive in-line pool water monitoring systems.

WaterGuru works Great. Poor Customer Service. Net bag that protects the Unit from contamination fell apart at the seams. Sent a picture and Emailed them 3 times. No Response! Or replacement.

The app could use some refinement and the cartridges last more like 50 days not 60 in my experience. But it has been handy. That being said, it doesn’t test alkalinity. I was dumping acid in every other day before I discovered that it needed to have alkalinity adjusted. Ultimately I hired a company to do my pool once a week. I use the Sense as a double check and add chemicals if it goes bad in between.
