“This unit fits perfectly into our converted closet, runs quietly, and is very low-maintenance. We did a lot of research before committing to this brand and have absolutely no regrets based on the reputable quality of EuroCave. “I love the temp stability and the humidity monitor and control. Overall it looks great. Downsides ... the sliding shelves only hold 8 standard bottles, and fewer if they are oversized. And it came with only four sliding shelves. The other shelves are fixed, and you stack up to 50+ bottles on each shelf. That evidently saves space but makes them harder to access. Also the units buzz a bit too loud while the compressor is on but overall they are quieter than the Vinoteque units. The Vinoteques give up up to 10 bottles per shelf and 14 sliding shelves, so access is a lot easier. But fan noise is louder. Kinda depends on what you need, but I'm satisfied with the Eurocaves at the moment.”

“Scratches very easily. I scratched and dented a side just trying to gently install the hooks that hold the drawers. Also, the hooks become loose over a very short period of time as you pull out the drawers. Some have become stuck and I've had to install new hooks. It's only been a couple months. Scared to see what kind of shape this is going to be in a year. I would not recommend buying this unit.”

“PROS: needed the small footprint in my condofront ventilation will allow the unit to be built in when remodeling occurs. White glove delivery was first rate.Only red's stored in this unit - so single temp zone is greatextra pull out shelves were easy to install.After a couple of months of operation - temp holds steady, the unit when running is very quiet.CONS:others have pointed out storage issues - although in practice even with a variety of red's I can get 6, 7 or 8 bottles on every pull-out shelf with just a bit of mixing and matching... ample for my needs. A couple of large pinot bottles were too fat for the spacing. attaching the unit to the wall - this required a bit of work - first marking the wall, then moving the unit, measuring again, installing the brackets, moving the unit back in place etc...”

“new shelving quite an improvement and unit runs very well - do expect that with the bottle shenanigans of longer necks and wider bottles these days you will not be able to max out storage but I am well pleased with its quality and sharp look (I bought stainless). my sales rep Dino was wonderful!”

“Owned for 3 months so hard to gauge longer term performance, but so far so good. Only complaint is the rolling shelves (2 of the 7 I purchased) immediately need â€œadjustmentâ€� with a Phillips head screwdriver. Without adjustment the shelves get stuck and risk even jamming the guides which I suspect might lead to even bigger issues. This really makes me question the rest of the build quality. I don't think the Germans or Japanese manufacturers would allow this amount of error. Like I said, very early to tell, but seems to be working okay thus far.”
