This is exactly what I was looking for. It’s a single zone unit that maintains temperature very well, is quiet and cools very quickly. Good quality. 2 reservations. First, you will not get 200 bottles in this and don’t expect to. The attached picture is 140 bottles. You can see a little room for more. Second, the shelves are tight for larger bottles and be careful when pulling empty shelves out as they can disconnect from the slide. This can’t happen when bottles are on it. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. My white glove delivery went well even though they were late arriving.

The white glove delivery service was great, drawers are easy to fill, and glide well. In operation this unit is very quiet. However, the blue LED lights are so strong in color that one cannot read the bottle labels, or see a hint of the real color. Daylight white or even incandescent color would be better. And they are annoying in the typical dining or living room.

The classic 200 wine cellar has worked out great. Delivery was very good, bottles fit nicely and it’s very quiet. The service from Wine Enthusiast was excellent.

Better-designed than our previous cooler, with more substantial (and better-sliding) shelves and better spacing. Has run perfectly well since installation, though the door lock doesn't work; still waiting on a resolution of that. "White Glove" delivery and installation was less than expected; just wheeled into position with the instruction not to turn it on for at least 24 hrs, leaving us to install the handle, remove the travel twist ties from the shelves and take out the cardboard strips taped to the door glass (one had fallen off in transit) to protect it from damage by any loose shelves. Summary: good value, performs well so far, delivery experience needs work.

This is an excellent storage cooler for the money. It does not handle 200 bottles from a conventional sense, but would hold that many small-standard Bordeaux bottles. You want to buy larger than stated, so if you need storage for 120-180 or so, this is a good choice. Super easy to use, very stable cooling, looks great and well built. This is a single zone and that is actually what you want. Storage temps and drinking temps are two different things. Both reds and whites do well around 55 degrees. Often over time, two zone coolers tend to bleed together and ultimately create one hybrid mixed zone. And again, that is not needed for storage. If you want a colder drinking Riesling or champagne, pop it in the fridge for 5 minutes or have an on-hand service ice bucket.

Of course there will be variation in capacity based on bottle type. That's completely understandable. The problem is it isn't just the bottle size that causes issues; it's also the interior dimensions and the shelf type. The wire grid in the shelf does not allow bottles to sit all the way to the edge of the shelf, regardless of bottle type. If it did, one could probably fit an extra bottle in the gap it would fill. With the two-deep, double-stack setup (which I'm not a fan of either since different bottle types don't stack easily), that's another four bottles that could fit per shelf. If you set bottles all the way against the interior wall to make up for the wasted space from the wire grid alignment, then you block the shelf from being able to be pulled out. Also, it's very tall and narrow, so the back of the top shelf cannot be accessed without a step stool. We love our EuroCave. It's a little shorter and wider and the adjustable-slats shelf system works great. We most likely will not purchase another Wine Enthusiast.
