“First of all, this is a high quality wine fridge. It's expensive, no doubt but I feel that the value was worth the investment. It has an extremely quiet compressor. I can barely tell that it's running. It also has two zones, one for the reds, and a smaller zone for whites. You can control the temperature of each independently. The construction is sturdy and so far, I've had no issues with the unit. The only reason I didn't give it 5* is because the number of bottles it holds can be a little misleading. It says 70 bottles but that assumes you are using standard bordeaux-size bottles. It turns out that not any of the wine that I own are bordeaux-size bottles. Most of my wines are California reds so not sure who uses these bottles anymore. Consequently, this has reduced the capacity of my wine fridge to about 50 bottles. It is written in the fine print, but you have to look for it. Other than that, I am very pleased with my purchase”

“I have had the cellar for about a month. Nice and quiet, keeps bottles at temp. Shelves are just OK (as noted in other reviews). Delivery was great- I just got regular delivery and the folks from AM Transportation unpacked it, brought it into the room I wanted and hauled off the boxes. Biggest downside is there is no way this cellar would hold 70 bottles. Maybe 70 splits. Maybe. I have 7 bottles per shelf, mostly Bordeaux bottles. There are 6 shelves. so even if you could get 8 per shelf, that's only 48 bottles. Another 6 max in the bottom are (I use that area for large format), and you get to 54. Only way you could get to 70 is if you removed all but 2 shelves and just stacked bottles in. But the shelves are not removable. Also, nowhere is it indicated this was possible, but I had hoped to be able to reverse the swing on the door. No luck.”

“I am pleased with the capacity and the cooling. It is maybe +- a degree or two. The unit was shipped less the screws for the handle but I improvised with a couple of screws from my workshop.”

“The wine cooler boasts solid construction and an appealing aesthetic, but unfortunately, this is where its merits end. It is marketed as a 70-bottle cooler, which I found to be a clear overstatement; fitting even 50 bottles was a challenge. The design fails to accommodate the diverse shapes and sizes of wine bottles, leading to significant storage issues. The shelves are uncomfortably close, causing them to jam when bottles are placed. Moreover, the top shelf in the lower section is particularly problematic, making it nearly impossible to store bottles at the back without damaging their labels, as evidenced in my posted photo. My overall experience has been one of deep disappointment, especially at the price point for what should be considered a premium product.”

“This Wine Enthusiast Classic 70 is a very nice wine cooler, the blue LED lighting is a nice touch and it looks beautiful on display. Even though it is made to fit 70 bottles, it realistically may hold 50 because of difference in some bottle sizes. The only negative is the compressor is not as quiet as I would like, but overall it’s great.”
