Excellent value for the price. The first one was a little tricky to assemble but the second was easy. Would highly recommend.

It looked so beautiful! Compared with the wine coolers that start at $2K, it was a bargain at $265. And all the stray boxes of wine littering my house can finally go! The box arrives, I wrangle it into the house and then two hours later it's maybe half built. I jabbed a finger with a screw or on a piece of the metal frame, (wonder when my last tetanus shot was) and had to undo almost more screws than I got right. Somewhere along the way I realize several things, (but wait for the corker at the end); You need an IQ above 150, You must love solving puzzles like Rubik Cubes in order to put this thing together and, I will never complain about IKEA instructions ever again! Instructions are a single sheet of paper with a picture list of pieces with letters and a diagram on the other side which has the pieces pictured with their letters but not all of them. It absolutely has a right and wrong way to build the frame that comes in four pieces. They're labeled with their letter but not with any kind of directionality that would help indicate which is the front or back - hey, I'm not picky! Ok, an hour in and I finally get the frame put together - the top and bottom don't exactly line up but it's solid and for the price I can get a cousin to weld it or something. Now onto the shelves... I decide, yanno, it's gonna be easier to attach them all before I put them inside cause otherwise I am screwing from the bottom of each one and that's awkward when you need to go back and forth on each side - do a little here, a little there - it just makes it all come together properly. Um... four shelves screwed together and I realized I've just built a very weird, v-shaped shelf that is going sideways... not up! Sigh. But then I realized I only have to undo one set of screws - aha! Gotcha sucker... but then I literally cannot get it to fit into the frame. Apparently two screwed together is the max I can get to fit but all of my time-saving was for naught since I have now screwed and unscrewed way more than if I had just built it inside the frame shelf by shelf. Then I realize that the outside of the shelves must be screwed into the frame - the stupid little metal hex crossed with a Phillips head is for crap in this capacity. And because I now have four shelves already in the frame (all nicely and correctly screwed together), the weight is making it effing impossible to hold, line up the holes and then try to screw in the effing phillips head only screws with this tiny implement! I think this thing was designed by a sadist. Time to lick my wounds and take a break. And then it occurs to me, I actually do have a lovely husband that I can enjoin to finish putting this together for me! ~D'oh! slaps forehead~ Overall, I'd say this gets four stars - for the price, the metal frame is fairly nice but doesn't fit together perfectly. The shelves are beautiful and I'm sure the completed unit will be sturdy and hold a lot of wine. The instructions are difficult to say the least and only by carefully reviewing the diagram for the correct directionality will it come together correctly but expect 2-4 hours of construction.

Much stronger and more sturdy than its counterpart. Very pleased.

The instructions were terrible. Missing steps. Extra parts added to the confusion. On the one metal side where part A goes into part B, the hole in part B had weld debris and metal blocking the hole. We had to drill and grind out the hole to make it fit. Also the top shelf (part J) had three pre-drilled holes on the shelf with no purpose and now it looks ridiculous. From a distance it looks nice, but the craftsmanship is poor, it feels somewhat unsteady and I would expect so much more for the money.

The instructions completely miss the steps to assemble the frame. Plus the interior of the frame was not welded properly. It had bubbles of metal sticking out inside the pipe so the other piece wouldn’t go in. I had to drill and file it several times to get the pieces to fit together. Also the flat top shelf has holes drilled into the board that shouldn’t be there. Looks bad. Overall it has a nice general look, but for the price I expect way better craftsmanship. Very disappointed.

Instructions were a bit incomplete. One piece of wood split as the hole was drilled off center. One of the screws snapped off under light torque. Luckily I'm handy enough to overcome these things! I little more attention to detail in manufacturing would go a long way.

The rack was very easy to assemble. It stores more bottles than you think. They look great because I purchased 2, so they naturally complement each other in one room.

These shelves are very sturdy and fit nicely into the space I have available. Materials for the frame and shelving are good, but screws are poor quality and the heads can break off leaving the body of the screw in the shelf. I was aware of this from previous reviews and was very careful and still had 3 snap off. That said, purchasers should be aware of a couple of other things. The instructions are awful. There are no instructions for assembiling the outer frame at all. Remaining instructions for the inner shelving are very confusing, even for someone with lots of experience assembling items. I was finally able to overcome these obstacles but was left with using my own skills and ingenuity. If you are up for a bit of a construction challenge, the finished product comes out nicely. I would ditto a previous reviewer and encourage you to replace the screws with better quality screws before even starting.
