There were some excellent aspects of this program--some great thought leaders and some interesting case studies that they shared in the video content, specifically. However, the overall instructional design made the course unnecessarily disconnected/fractured in some places. It often felt more like separate and fractured units, versus a cohesive program (happy to provide more details on this if you'd like). Additionally, there were some SMEs or on-camera talent who didn't seem quite camera-ready and because of this, it became distracting to watch their videos, even if they were sharing valuable content. The program included a huge amount of "content dumping" and "talking at", and some of the content could have been better reviewed and designed from an instructional perspective. I think this could have ensured better through-lines between the distinct elements of the program and created greater overall coherence. Throughout the practice quizzes and several areas in the final exam, there were questions that felt like unfair "trick" questions, versus truly assessing concept retention/application; these areas should definitely be revised. It's frustrating to be a busy professional and sit through an exam that's poorly worded, or seems to be testing if I can find one inaccurate word which makes an answer statement incorrect. There were also exam questions that simply were not covered thoroughly enough in the actual course materials; this should also be reviewed for fairness. Finally, I found myself wishing there was a set of simple case study scenarios (either included in the download materials of each course section or provided at the end for the entire program as a whole) that can be reviewed and referenced later. While the Rise practice scenarios were somewhat useful, many of those downloadables were templates and not deeper explanations of scenarios or situations to contemplate and transfer to other real-world situations during later reference. It would be great to have several short scenarios from each course expert, that focus on real-world case studies, complexities, intervention approaches, and explanations for how/why the expert chose the intervention(s) they did based on the the theories/practices they've provided in the course. This could add real take-away value to the whole program. I'm happy to offer more detail and recommendation if desired. Thanks!
