“I love Mr. Bertinet's relaxed but thorough approach. Other bread making classes I've taken focus so much on the science, that the technique gets lost, leaving the student intimidated and expecting certain failure. Richard focuses on technique, on the joy of making bread and on learning to trust your senses to know and feel the bread in its various stages. In my first week, I have made the basic bread and babka, both recipes turned out exactly as he said- Such summer fun, I'm a total fan!”

“Overall very good but I am not sure it is good for complete beginners. Mr Bertinet does several recipes with 1k of flour rather than the usual 500gm. I thought he could have started with 500 and progress to a 1k. Dealing with 1k is more scary and challenging.”
