Even supposing you just watch one course on BBC Maestro, make it THIS one by James Nestor - practical work you can do around improving your health through breath. Sounds wacko, but there are loads of easy exercises with lots of science (or ancient religious practice!) to back them up.

Began sharing some of these lessons as soon as I'd watched them. Brilliantly delivered with humilty and humour, the Hold It and Over Breathing lessons were brand new, perspective-altering bodily experiences, but the course overall showed me just how bad a breather I really am! Will do this again.

This is great, I never knew threre was so much to learn about breathing. I'm finding it very helpful for stress in my life. Glad I now no how to breath!!

I`d like the lessons to be shorter. Some of them are a little too lengthy for the material they contain. Otherwise, an excellent instructor.

Knowledgeable presenter speaking from experience. Lots of easy to follow exercises. The accompanying text is a helpful reminder of the exercises. I’ve not been doing the course for long enough to say it has made a difference to the way I feel, but it has certainly made me think about how I breathe.
