With the exception of the Animal Wheel, which was not her own work, this course generated more questions than answers. A professional of her supposed stature, and a BBC Maestro, should not have a 24 lesson class that provides little concrete homework or takeaways. Her lessons did prompt me to think more deeply about the topics, such as behavioral analysis, remembering peoples' baselines, or being more cooperative than assertive, but I felt each lesson ended there with its topic sentence. 'How' specifically I can practice behavioral analysis in more depth, 'When' I should be the monkey or lion or T-rex is not clear to me. I think the entire course could probably be boiled down to one hour of her speaking about the various topics, which, in academia is more of a one-off sample class by a visiting professor hoping to leave you wanting more next semester, than it is a definitive education. I think BBC Maestro courses should ultimately be answering the questions they create, because there is no next semester in this context so satisfy my hunger for knowledge. I think some of the content was interesting. I did not approve of her usurping the Animal Wheel creators' spotlight, as it could easily have been its own course. I also felt her interviewing her husband was unprofessional and made it seem as if she had no contacts willing to speak (presumably for money) on the record. I do not think the author fully explored her thesis in this course, and I think if she took another crack at it she could do much better. My advice would be to lean more heavily on behavioral analysis rather than influencing other people, because one is a practicable skill and the other is a crapshoot. The content of the course probably deserves a C, but because of the various concerns aforementioned, I feel inclined to give it a C-.

I think what I've learnt so far from Evy Poumpouras is Astonishing!!! Already I've stopped looking outside my self for respect - if Respect is given & afforded to me by someone else - Great! - if not, that's not my problem!! Also particularly enjoy 'Confidence' lesson. Evy's delivery of course is excellent.

The course is great. Listening is tricky as I have to keep logging on after a break. Can’t find an app. That would be good.
