“I ride a velomobile. I had to get creative on how to mount the cycliq cameras. Ideally it would be cool to have a shark fin or whale tale type device with the cameras hidden inisde. For now The universal adapter are doing just fine.”
“I have not received the Universal Adaptor Pack I ordered back on January 28th I received the silicone case and the glass lenses but no adaptor. It is hard to make a recommendation.”
“I keep having to buy new adaptors, as the quality of the item isn't great and they wear down very quickly. This means that the camera starts to move on the adapter during a ride and it gets to a stage where it then rattles. My last one decided to snap mid-ride and deposit the camera on the ground. This was before it had rea he'd the rattling stage too. The front and rear cameras/lights are great, but the adapters and mounts are very poor. I gave up on the dual mount for camera and Garmin bike computer and had one custom made by a company using a 3d printer in the UK and this is so much sturdier and does the job better.”
“The Universal Adaptor is a well designed pack of two and is easy to use. At $23.99 the only downside like most Cyliq accessories is that it is over-priced for a little bit of plastic.”
