“It's mostly good. Not hard to use and quality of footage is excellent.
BUT (significant but) it seems very hard / unreliable at being detectable when connected to my MacBook Pro (2020 M1). Sometimes I just can't get the Cycliq to show up in Finder at all. Other times it becomes visible only after switching off and on and reconnecting multiple times. The more this happens, the more frustrating it becomes.”
“After a long wait the new fly sport came well worth the wait love the smaller design but more battery life and LED screen at the back to tell you the power life in it plus the light is so bright easy set up with the app a bit expensive but you get what you pay for today I have ordered a other one for my car !!!!”
“From all the reviews and videos I researched before hand I was very excited to order the fly12. However whilst looking at the video playback of my rides where instants have happened, the video quality is very poor and not stabilised at all, as claimed. If you add some rain into the mix of the distorted video it makes for difficult viewing. If I was to be in a serious incident I wouldn’t have a view of the number plate of any vehicle just a blob of an outline of a vehicle. I am disappointed as this camera/front light is very expensive. I took a long time whether I should bite the bullet and order one so I am torn between sending it back and going back to just a decent front light.
The video I have attached is one I have uploaded to UpRide which is a brilliant platform and one that cemented my choice in getting the Fly12, I am was just expecting better playback and stability for the price tag.”
“This is a well established brand of sport cameras really designed for recording incidents and accidents on the bike. the hardware and firmware are excellent and function very well. The supporting desktop software could do with a bit of work (I used the Mac version) as it seems a bit unstable.”

However, I will rate the customer support of Cycliq (Australia) - literally epic, I had a shipping problem with Aust Post (who hasn't) and Cycliq stepped in and sorted it immediately.

“works great, good battery life and bright light. Rain and even a mist will cansil out its usefulness. All images are distorted by the water drops. Can't help that though. Your program doesn't like my computer display running at 150%. it wants to run in 125% display mode. When using your program I reset display mode to 125% and all is fine.”
