“I should have listened to the previous reviews. Immediately upon receipt of the adaptor pack, I attempted to use the Velcro strap and upon gently tightening it, the plastic (metal?) piece snapped. I can't believe I paid $30 plus another $10 for this pack. Absolute rip off. Also, when I try to rate the design and value of the product in their survey, it defaults to 3 out of 5 stars even when trying to give a 1 for poor performance. Another scam. Shame on you Cycliq.”
“Grossly overpriced and bad quality product. Just buy "Quarter-turn to Friction Flange Mount Adapter" from Garmin instead (particularly if you have a Garmin Bike Computer); and it is much better in quality and serves the exact same purpose.
What was worse, I considered preferring the Duo Mount over the default Garmin mount; but it did not even have a proper protective layer between the mount and the handlebar. So I was worried that the mount will damage my handlebar. Whereas the default garmin mount came with a rubber protector. And mount cost USD 80. Complete rip off.”
“Wow! I'm surprised that you ask. Your strap pack is completely over-priced, especially considered how weak the plastic ring is. I'm on the third one, the ring breaks as soon as I give even the slightest bit of tug. Honestly, I found on Amazon the same strap BUT with a metal ring. And man, can I tug that till the cows come home and it doesn't break. The best part... it only cost $2. Obviously, Cycliq is screwing customers with the price of accessories. Not cool. I don't understand. If you have a great product that people love, why would you damage that relationship by creating new friction by overcharging for simple accessories? I'm not an MBA. Please explain so that I may understand.”
“Only had this a short time and in the process of returning it, although they are trying to charge me for returning a faulty unit. Poor customer service has just made the experience worse. Have had issues with it not recording (it doesn't warn you if there is an issue), corrupted/unplayable files and they have a known random issue with the file date, which indicates the file has been modified - not allowed in video evidence. This is with 3 SD cards (one being the supplied card) and all formated in the camera either directly or via the app. It also turns out formating directly via the camera does nothing, but it tells you it was successful. It is such a shame as this is a potentially great product, but it needs to carry out it's primary purpose - dashcam.”
“The Fly6 Pro is a signicant improvement on the Fly3 - a far more acceptable battery life and a really good picture.
It's a pity that a trade in on the Fly3 isn't offered as the battery life on the Fly3 was always a problem.
The clasp on the USB flap is inadequate - the flap springs open repeatedly, especially going over bumps.
The clasp on the Fly12 is great and it's a disappointment that it was not used on the Fly6.
I'm having to use a strip of gaffer tape to secure the flap.
Nevertheless the Fly6Pro is otherwise a good product, albeit at a premium price.”
