“My Fly 12 CE was very loose in its mount. The tabs on the light body were worn out. Cycliq send a replacement body and I was easily able to swap my internals into the new body and now it doesn't rattle in the mount anymore.”
“I recently purchased my "second" Fly6" cycling camera. The question that should be asked is "Why have I had to make a second purchase?" This gets to the core of my feedback. I had to purchase another unit because the first one I purchased got to the point where it would not hold a charge longer than 1 hour. I only had the unit for 2-3 years. My question becomes, for the price one has to pay for this product, why does it only last this amount of time? Regarding my purchase of a second unit, I've had it for approximately 1 month; it functions fine and I am very attentive regarding the charging of the unit....making sure it is recharged after about 4.5 hours of operation in the 1028 HD setting and random light setting at high output. My only concern is I, wish the unit lasted a bit longer in these settings. I go on a lot of long rides (75 - 100 miles) and I'm sure it's not going to last more than the 4.5 - 5 hours at my current settings. I am now testing the quality of imagery at the 720 resolution setting (same light brightness) to see if I get more hours of operation. Check back with me in February for an update. Also, it doesn't make me, as a consumer, feel too good about the next question "How disappointed would you be if this product no longer existed tomorrow?".....sort of gives me the impression you're getting ready to go out of busines.....and I just purchased one of your products. I think the Gen 3 design is nicer than the first unity I purchased; it's smaller and more compact (a good thing). I would rate you higher for design if the unity had a longer battery/charge capacity.”
“Unit does as it is meant to - records the ride, and provide a clear rear light.
However, it annoys me that the new unit (while smaller) has a shorter battery life than its predecessor, and it should also be unacceptable in this day and age to have a device that has to be thrown out once the battery life has come to an end - an expensive glass and electronic device should be user (or, at worst, supplier) maintainable...”
“The adapter pact is functional, works pretty well. Unfortunately it’s plastic and considerably over priced. With shipping the two small plastic pieces cost about 26 dollars. Considering all purchasers have already bought their cameras, Cycliq should offer these adapters at a much more reasonable cost.”
“This is overpriced, and a cover that's designed 10 years ago. Consider what's available for your phone and then look at this cover and its price. No comparison.”
“I love the product from a feature set perspective. Since this is my 3rd unit from water damage, it needs some work to keep water out of the charging port. Also, please make it easier to turn on/off. Currently feels like I'm standing there holding down the button forever.”
