“I connected my Pulse with my phone no problem, the fireboard 2 on the other hand was another story. Because of my firewall on my network my fireboard has not updated in the 6 months since i have had it. A 5 min call with the Fireboard team and I opened the port and the update to V4.0 was complete. If you have troubles please make sure your version is 4.0 to start. This is not in troubleshooting or support.”
“Have 2 pulse probes. They are great. Very accurate .So much easier then wired ones and internal and external readings are very useful. I cant understand why some people are so impatient on the launch of a new product....we were on a pre order!”
“Pre ordered and received a couple weeks ago. I was interested as I like the wireless option on My LSG with the fireboard controller. I have had issue with the wired probes and so far, the Pulse works great, no issues, no drops of signal. I like the fact I can use one eco system for my cooks. I have tried others, and none have worked this well.”
“Pre-order toom a bit to ship, but that's the price to pay for getting in early. Could have waited until release but wanted to get my hands on a wireless probe as soon as possible for my rotisserie.
It just arrived but I've already put it through some use. Pairing was relatively straightforward, especially once I took the time to watch their setup video (only about 90 seconds long).
I can't speak to accuracy yet, but the probe appears to work as well as any wired probe. If I have any gripe it would be the diameter of the probe, but that doesn't bother me yet (although I'm used to the comp series probes which are exceptionally thin).
Overall, very pleased and I'm on the website ordering some more right now.”
