“Using the FireBoard 2 on a Kamado Joe Classic for the last 2+ years. This controller just works. Keeps temps within 1 degree of target temp. The Programs work great if you want to customize your cook. For instance, if I am cooking a brisket, I'll set the pit to 250 until the internal temp is 200, then move the pit down to 205 for a nice soft landing at 204. It will take a few cooks to understand how it interacts with your fan and top vent settings, but after that, it's like cooking in an oven - but without the wild temp swings you get with an oven!. The wifi works each time, never had an issue with it not connecting. You won't regret buying it.”
