The fan included with the bundle works well with my Kamado using the supplied fan adapter plate. The newer unit de-clutters the fan wiring by eliminating the fan power dongle.

One request: It would be good if a plug was provided to seal the fan port when the fan is removed. I’m using a wet rag as a plug.”

“This is my first experience with a fire monitor of this caliber. I previously have used a Thermoworks with multiple probes and remote monitor but I finally decided I wanted to step up my game and have more freedom away from the fire when I’m cooking. Everything about this product so far has been a great experience. Right out of the box all of the components feel professionally made with their weight and fitment. I had watched quite a few videos so the app setup and usage of all of the screens was extremely easy. I have done two cooks and everything has been near to perfect.
