“Fantastic product, made my Masterbuilt XT come to life! I was having major issues with the XT controller, 100 degree temperature swings. It was always losing wifi connectivity. But not so with the Fieboard 2. It keeps temp within 10-15 degrees from my Govee temp probe. The only issue was getting the proper wiring from the unit to the 12V fan. But fairly straight forward, this way the warrenty is not affected.”
“Ive used the Fireboard 2 Drive for several years now. The probes do not last much more than a year when used about 5-10 times a year. I’ve purchased the competition probes as well with the same result. The ambient probe is also prone to failure. For about the past year I’ve been using Thermoworks and Chef IQ. These probes do not seem to fail like Fireboards do. I think someone needs to go back to the drawing board. Probes are way too expensive to fail this rapidly.”
“Enjoying the new upgrade. My only critique is directions are a little light. Maybe a instructional video of a normal cook, walking through how to properly set up and operate the controller. I’m still very happy with support and very happy with my purchase.”
“I love the fireboard so much I now have 2, my only complaint is the new one I just bought came with a defective charger, the power block does not work. That being said I have not tried to get it replaced because I’m using a spare block I had. Other than that it’s great.”

“I love this thing so much I bought one for a friend who is getting into Q. This is technically my 3rd Fireboard. I owned a gen1 and upgraded when the Fireboard 2 with drive came out. My gen1 was still working although the LED was a little faded after all the years of good use. I finally retired it. There are competitor products out there.....I've done the research. Look around if you must, or save yourself some time - I'm telling you......this is The One.”
