“Fantastic thermometer, and rock solid drive for my fan! I've only had it for around a month now, but I've used it on every cook since I bought it, as well as a few times without food just to "kick the tires." It's an amazing device, either just as a thermometer, or driving an ATC fan. It's also nice to be able to share data with distant relatives who can watch my cooks from hundreds of miles away!”
“I bought the Fireboard Drive 2 and have been extremely impressed with the capabilities. I also bought the Fireboard fan to go along with it. I have a lot of temperature controllers but this one has probably become my favorite after just a week of using it. The new Fireboard control unit itself is much more durable and robust than the original. Its heavy enough that it won't move around much and become problematic when you have multiple probes attached to it. The heft and durability of the new fan is also impressive. I use this system mainly on Kamado grills. I LOVE the ability the software gives me to set a max speed for the fan. 20cfm is just too much for the Kamado grill in most cases. I dialed my max speed back to 20% and it works BEAUTIFULLY at that setting. I don't overshoot my set temp and it holds quite steadily once it reaches that target. I also share a lot of my cooks on social media. The app ability to document my cook with multiple photos and comments is PERFECT. When my cook is complete, I can share my Fireboard session with the associated photos and temperature data. The only thing I don't like about the Fireboard 2 Drive is that I wish it had on-device control options for setting target temps and probe alarms. I don't mind using the phone or my PC to control the device, but having the manual control option would be awesome. At any rate, the Fireboard 2 Drive is going to be my go-to control system. Thanks for all the hard work that went into this product.”
“Just received my FireBoard 2 Drive model and can’t recommend this unit strongly enough! Screen is huge and the fan maintains steady cooking temps and for long smokes the battery life is excellent. I hope they will add dark mode for the iPhone app and perhaps make the app mirror the FireBoard screen when the iPhone is in landscape mode, that would be awesome.”

“This is my first high quality thermometer and temperature controller. Did a ton of research and felt this was within $50 of any comparable solution and seemed to have higher quality. I’ve used it twice and am very happy. Setup was a breeze. The instruction manual is short, and so much of the functionality within the app is intuitive. The control unit is very well built. Battery life is better than I expected. In the app you can easily title your cooks, and add notes so it will serve as a nice reference for the future. I can’t think of much more I would want out of the device. Well done!”
“I received my Fireboard 2 yesterday and so far I am impressed with the product! Build quality is solid, UI/UX of the device is straight forward, and using the App together with the unit was also very straight forward. I did extensive testing with the 3 supplied probes and the temps were spot on. Being able to see our temps on Multiple Phones with the Fireboard App in addition to the FireBoard.com website is absolutely awesome! I can't wait to use this with my meat smoker this weekend!”
