Taking the GGS pre and postnatal certification really helped me out so much during pregnancy as well as postpartum. I lifted with all 3 (and now my 4th!) pregnancies and I just feel better knowing that I know have the knowledge this certification has provided. It’s so evidence based and there are so many helpful videos. I even learned things that I didn’t know about! Now I’m using my knowledge to help friends and family who want to stay active before and after pregnancy.

I purchased the Pre- & Postnatal coaching m Certification when I decided I wanted to have a baby myself. I’m a CrossFit coach, and I was honestly freaked about not knowing what exercises would be safe for me when pregnant or safe for my athletes who are pregnant. The certification gave me the knowledge and skills I needed to be able to go into my own conception and pregnancy journey with confidence and also to be able to coach more female athletes. I’ve even started a “Dumbbells & Diapers” program at my gym for pregnant and postpartum moms! I love that I can feel confident in my coaching abilities and in my ability to offer safe and effective exercise variations no matter who comes into my gym. If you’re thinking about doing this program, I absolutely think it’s worth it.

I had my babies in the early 90s, and having been through seven pregnancies and raising four children, I already knew a fair bit about the process. I am also a fitness and nutrition coach, and have a good knowledge base about nutrition and exercise programming. But what is known about pregnancy and postnatal care these days is vastly different than what was known back then, especially in the areas of exercise and recovery. So when two of my kids became pregnant at the same time, I was excited to take the GGS Pre and Postnatal course so I could bring my knowledge up to date and support my kids through this stage of their lives. I learned so much more than I thought I would! I also really appreciated being able to take the course at my own pace, pausing when necessary due to life circumstances. The course was laid out in a way that worked well for me, so I could take my time but not feel like I was starting over every time I had to stop for a few weeks. I highly recommend this course and can’t wait to continue my education through GGS.

The pre- and postnatal coaching certification is so much more than a set of physical guidelines — it’s a gentle yet profound invitation into the emotional and embodied world of the woman in transition. It offers not only knowledge, but a deeper lens into how to truly listen — with empathy, softness, and genuine presence — during one of the most tender and transformative seasons of her life. Whether in preparation or in the quiet unfolding of the postpartum, the course brings forward honest case studies, layered insights, and compassionate pathways to support your clients — or yourself — in building trust with the body, moving with intention during pregnancy, and embracing the slow, connected rhythm of recovery. It holds space for the changes, the uncertainty, the beauty of metamorphosis — and gives you tools to navigate it with more grace and clarity. And once again… I’m reminded how deeply needed this work is.

There is a serious lack of knowledge in the fitness industry on training our largest client base - Women. This course helps fill this gap in knowledge with a detailed course, that while broaching complex bio-science, explains the information in an approachable and most importantly applicable way.
