I haven’t finished the course yet, but what I have learned so far has been so eye opening and makes so much sense. I can’t wait to finish it and use the knowledge to help women and myself navigate this tricky transition in our lives. Thankful for this course. There is not enough information out there and help. Glad that the topic is starting to be more talked about and women are seeking answers. Christine

The Girls Gone Strong Menopause Coaching Specialist Certification is really solid. It’s clear, science-based, and actually useful in real life—not overwhelming, not fear-based, and not “one-size-fits-all.” It helped me better understand what’s going on in women’s bodies and how to coach through it with empathy and confidence. If you want menopause education that feels empowering, practical, and respectful of women as whole humans, this one delivers.

Molly is a trailblazer in the menopause coaching space, and I’m genuinely thankful this course exists. It’s the first one I’ve seen that takes menopause coaching seriously—like it actually matters—rather than treating it as a side note. The course covers a wide range: hormone shifts, strength training, behavior change. It’s practical, coach-friendly, and it raises the bar for what “menopause-informed” should mean. This is real education coaches can use. This is close to a perfect course—my one request is that postmenopause gets its own deeper module. The physiological shifts don’t stop when periods end. Postmenopause isn’t a quick “after.” It’s a long phase with its own challenges—muscle retention and hypertrophy resistance, continued metabolic shifts, and bone health strategies that have to hold up over decades, not just during perimenopause. If the course added a deeper postmenopause section—training adaptations, nervous system regulation, and long-term recovery—it would go from strong to essential. And to be clear: I’m recommending this course. What I’d love to see included in a future expansion: 1. Postmenopausal muscle growth and retention How to adjust programming years after menopause, and why some classic hypertrophy assumptions need tweaking. 2. Advanced recovery and nervous system regulation How stress tolerance and recovery can shift postmenopause, and how to program deloads and recovery with more precision for postmenopausal people in their 50s, 60s, and beyond. 3. Metabolic adaptations and nutrition beyond the transition Protein targets long-term, energy availability, and the carb tolerance shifts that show up postmenopause. 4. Bone health for the long run How training evolves when osteopenia/osteoporosis risk is on the table, and how to use progressive loading and appropriate impact intelligently. 5. A clear framing that menopause isn’t one event Many programs focus on “the transition.” Postmenopause is lifelong, and coaches need guidance that matches that reality. And none of that changes the truth: Molly is paving the way. I hope this course is the beginning of a broader, more specific conversation—one that supports people through the transition and through the decades after. If you coach midlife clients, this course is absolutely a strong start. With a postmenopause expansion, it could become the standard.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful, deeply informed review, Rusty. Your experience with the Menopause Coaching Specialist Certification reflects exactly why evidence-based women’s health and fitness education matter, especially when menopause is approached as a serious, lifelong phase rather than a brief transition. Your call for deeper education around postmenopausal muscle retention, recovery, metabolic adaptation, and long-term bone health reflects the real-world needs of clients in their 50s, 60s, and beyond. Taking a long-term view of menopause, not just the transition but the years that follow, is what strengthens menopause-informed coaching, and feedback like this helps guide how the work continues to evolve. Thank you for helping raise the standard of care for women. — Girls Gone Strong Team
