“The perfect amount of spice hits you right on the tongue. It’s not too spicy, but gives you just enough to let you know it’s there. The mustard undertones work well with the scotch bonnets. It’s a very balanced sauce; I highly recommend it!”

“If you love mustard and heat, this sauce will be perfect for you. This sauce has been my go to since I discovered it, and go through a bottle a month, even with my subscription box coming monthly. I highly recommend this sauce!”

“The heat doesn't really register with me, I find it pretty mild though my heat tolerance is high. I was really hoping this would be closer to the original Pirate's Lantern and was a bit non-plussed by how sweet it is. That being said, it is still super good and can, with some modifications, be used in a alternative version of mojo sauce. I'm still struggling to find what I like this on besides a sandwich/burger topper.”

“this is one of my go to sauces. has good heat especially if you put on a fair amount. great taste goes with most anything especially sandwiches”

“Delicious sauce, great in anything from wraps to egg rolls. It actually pack a pretty good kick, too. Only reason it’s not a 5 is because 5s are reserved for my absolutely favorites, and this is damn close for a hot mustard sauce!”

“Was looking forward to this sauce since we LOVE mustard and the ingredient list read well. Needless to say, this was the most disappointing of the sauces we purchased. The heat was so overpowering we couldn't taste the mustard or much of anything else. It was very bitter. Such a sad experience.”
