Not so much a hot sauce as it is like a garlic oil. Adds great garlic, (black) pepper, and also plenty of umami to dishes. Love it on eggs and most Asian-based dishes. You don’t need much of it, otherwise it can overpower other flavors of your meal.

I absolutely love this one! I wasn't expecting to since it is an oil based sauce and I generally like vinegary sauces better but I have been putting this on everything; stir fry veggies, tacos, eggs....it says intensely spicy on the bottle but I don't find that to be the case. Has a nice burn but maybe that's because I use so much of it at a time.

After one taste I let the whole bottle go glug glug glug down into the trash. This stuff is HORRIBLE.

Oh no! We're really sorry to hear that. Our small batch makers work hard on every single bottle so that's definitely a bummer, especially after only one bite! Most hot sauce tastes better on food and this one is particular is more specific - it's awesome on tacos and wings but being oil-based can be a little weird on its own (and definitely needs a BIG shake). If you need a recommendation for a better flavor fit, we're here to help at ilovehotsauce@heatonist.com !

Perfect blend of heat, flavor and spice.

This sauce sets itself apart from all of the other sauces I've tried. The manzano chili flavor is so rich and deep. The bottle just arrived today and, after two introductory tablespoons, I had it on my grilled chicken kabobs. Can't stop thinking about it. My next order will include another bottle of this since I know it's going to go quick. My new number one.

This sauce has an amazing smoky flavor. It's just a shame that the sauce does not stay homogenized for more than a split second. The chia seeds se to bring an earthiness that is quite pleasant. But like the Tomaulipeka sauce the oil simply demands its presence be known.

Oh no! We're so sorry to hear that. With this being an oil based sauce, it can be divisive. Have you tried it on tacos or in a marinade yet? When you treat it like a salsa macha or use it to marinade grilled food it really shines!
