“I promise, you want to make an aioli with this and put out on a fried chicken sandwich. Then, add it to a stir-fry or fried rice, and it’s great on Poke bowls, sushi, sashimi. The smoky garlic flavor goes well with everything… I’d say maybe, 5.5-6/10… make sure to give it a good shake… will be purchasing more. Amazing.”

“This is such a polarizing sauce, and one I really haven't enjoyed. The sauce splits so easily because of the high oil content, and it's so hard to use if you aren't constantly shaking it up. Heat isn't there at all. Mouthfeel is extremely oily as well.”

Sorry to hear that you're not enjoying it so far! Totally agree oil based sauces can be divisive. The intent with this one was to be super rich and oil-based, almost like a chili oil. You do have to shake it up super well, but once you do it makes an awesome marinade or dipping sauce for dumplings (for things you'd usually put oil in). Hope that helps!

“When I think of hot sauces, I think of buffalo or some version of a pepper/vinegar sauce....that you put on chicken wings or omelettes or whatever. Ive never had a hot sauce like that screams PUT ME ON CHAR-GRILLED MEAT! It's one of the BEST sauces I've ever had, I'm obsessed. The smokey, garlicy, peppery deliciousness of this sauce is ADDICTIVE!”

“A lovely rich smooth complex mouth feel with middling heat. It is pretty different from a lot of sauces out there, but very worth trying if you are looking for a sauce with no vinegar.”

“This is Smokey, garlicky and and absolutely delicious; but it is hot, I would give it at least a 6/10 not a 4. It definitely gets up the nasal passages!”
