This sauce has become my favorite over time. Shake well, as the oil base seperates from the sauce. Has a kick, but not too spicy at all. Sweet Tamarind with notes of heat and tons of flavor. Nice light burn, delicious with almost anything.

One of the first hot sauces that truly wowed me. The burn and sweetness balance perfectly together. You can get away with using a little or a large amount on nearly anything you want to put hot sauce on. Compliments well with chicken and fries. Has an oily texture that will leave your lips feeling that good-spice feel.

The first few times I tried it, I thought it was too oily, so then I tried shaking it like crazy and it changed into a completely different sauce! No longer was it an oily, oozy mess that vaguely tasted of chili, instead it was full of flavor and packed a surprising punch for 3/10. Overall, I'd say 3/10 is about right for the heat, there's a small sting right on the lips but it dissipates within a minute or two. So far I've found it's best on Asian cuisine, specifically things like Himalayan momo or Chinese dumplings, which really surprised me.

Bought this because of the tamarind and was not disappointed. Tastes sweet first and finishes hot. A nice mildish/medium sauce where the heat doesn't overpower the flavor. A good sauce to start on if this is your first purchase and you don't want to go extreme.

I give this hot sauce one star because it has a little bit of heat which you immediately feel, but other than that, any promise of a perfect blend of tamarind, vinegar and spices is completely stymied by the overwhelming amount of corn oil that exists. Perhaps I’m biased and was hoping for more of a chutney like quality sauce with pure tamarind and less of an oily aioli emulsion. It’s the only bottle that my husband and I agreed should probably go into the trash but we are going to find a use for it because we don’t like to waste.

This hot sauce by Cantina Royal is amazing! I have found myself going to back to this one time after time. The smokey flavors are perfect and the sweetness is just the right amount. Best to shake this up good before use or you will not get the full flavors and textures of this brilliant hot sauce. This is my go to for breakfast hot sauce.

To be 100% clear, this is a chili oil, not a vinegary sauce. And it is absolutely brilliant. It has a thorough heat that will warm your entire mouth, while being so overpowering that you lose the flavor. Which would be a crime, because the sweet, tangy notes from the tamarind layer with the smokiness of the chili in some amazing ways. On top of being simply delicious, it's also incredibly versatile, thanks entirely to the tamarind. This will go perfectly on everything from Asian to Latin cuisine. TLDR: This is a really delicious chili oil that goes on everything. Buy it!

I found the vast amount of oil overpowered the flavours of the sauce itself. You have to shake aggressively as the sauce does separate. Would not buy it again. Hope someone else enjoyed it :)
