The flavor profile is unique and tasty. Heat kick is stronger than you might expect. Good with eggs. But no matter how much I shake the bottle up first it's a very oily sauce that seems to always separate upon pouring.

Sweet, smokey, lingering heat. Very balanced with a bit of a lean to the sweet side. But the smoke evens it out. Very nice sauce. Hotter than a 3/10. On par with a ghost pepper sauce I bought. I'd say 4 or 5/10 for heat though I'm a non-chili head. Very nice lingering burn on the lips and upper mouth.

This sauce is DELICIOUS. Maybe the batches play a factor here, but I don't think the heat rating is too far off, as others think. Might raise it to a 3 at most. My experience was exactly what the bottle says. A little bit of sweet, then comes the smoky, and then comes the hot. It was so good I wanted to just drink it. The 2 cons of this sauce are: 1) It separates A LOT. Seriously, shake it for as long as you'd think you would have to, and then shake it longer, because you're not done. 2) It does leave a little bit of a strange after taste, I hesitate to call it bad, but it isn't exactly good either. Even with that in mind, I think everyone should try this sauce.

Definitely a more Medium hot sauce then mild. When I first got it, the oil separated from the sauce. I was worried it wouldn't be good on food. After letting it sit out on room temperature then mixing it again with a thin chopstick I was able to mix the oil and sauce back together. Once that was done and it was properly mixed, it was insanely good. Great on Wings. I even made beef jerky with it and while it was really spicy, it was full of flavor. Great job! Definitely recommended.

As others have stated this spicier than expected. This sauce might be my favorite sauce out of the many I’ve enjoyed from Heatonist. At the least it’s in my top five. Remember to shake well before using to blend the hot oil into the sauce. Damn this sauce is delicious!!

I love this sauce. I also think the rating is off. Rated a 2/10 for heat, but it is about a 4 at least. And it definitely lingers around. All in a good way! The flavor is great. It is smokey, and warm, and rich. It is oily, but I don't mind it at all. Reminds me of the Asian red pepper oil sauce I get at my Chinese restaurant. I really love this sauce. I hopped back on the site just to get some more. I so recommend!

If I could change the Heat rating on this one, I would put it at a solid 3.5 to 4. The smoky and savory flavor of this sauce is very potent. What makes this sauce a 3.5 to 4, at least for me, is the smoldering heat afterwards. The heat of this one just tends to linger around in the mouth for a while. I really wish the flavor of the sauce stayed around just a hair longer. Then the sauce might be a 5/5. One thing to note before usage is that the sauce's oil tends to separate, so remember to give it a good shake. The sauce is also very thin, so I would recommend either a small dish for the sauce, or maybe even to just use it as a marinade for meats as seen in the product description. I have yet to do so, as I have finished my bottle. I may buy another at one point to try doing so, but I don't think this sauce is an insta-buy for me just yet.

It says 2/10, but it felt more like a 5 or 6 (probably due to the oil base). The heat is sudden but stays mainly in the mouth and lingers for a while. The tamarind gives a great tangy sweetness. Shake well and enjoy!
