I love the mixture of the wine and spice. This heats up nicely, but is not unbearable. I have found it is great on many meat dishes, especially Mexican.

This stuff is good for a sweet start and spicyish finish. Hotness: 6/10 Flavour: 8/10 Texture: Too chunky for my taste 5/10 Recommended for drizzling on Nachos and if you want a pretty spicy pulled pork sandwich.

So underwhelming. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Especially at its price. Minimal flavor…mildest hint of Cabernet and bitterness up front before you’re immediately smacked by pure heat. Not overwhelming, but enough to negate any other flavors that could come through. Good for adding to dish in the cooking process if you want to add heat, but not good for much else. Also the texture. Lord have mercy. Gotta shake it like you been shaked by an abusive spouse and it still doesn’t want to come out the bottle. Then you gotta spread with a spoon or knife. Way too thick. I apologize to my taste buds for enduring this punishment. The gain IS NOT worth the pain in this case.

I use hot sauce as a condiment, not a cooking spice or baste. Something brittle his sauce, maybe pieces of the charred skins of the peppers, was off-putting to me. Also, I don't think this is a 7/10 for heat. I thought Dreams of Calypso, also a 7/10 was much hotter. Maybe I'm just burned out on the taste of habaneros, but I just didn't enjoy this one.

One of my favorite of the 8+ heat sauces. Great taste. I love it on hash browns, potato skillets and scrambled eggs.

Cracked it open not too long ago, so don't have a list of uses yet. Also got their Bourbon Habanero Ghost which I'll rate as GREAT. I can see both of these being used on beef dishes as a condiment.

I really like this sauce. I really do. It's one of the most uniquely flavored I've ever bought on Heatonist (and I've bought a lot). I just can't figure out what to do with it. The slightly sour flavor of the cabernet prevents it from being an everyday sauce, so it doesn't "go" with many foods. I had the same problem with the bourbon-habanero-ghost. Use it in a marinade or as a condiment for red meat for best results. For the hotheads, be aware that this really rates closer to a 5/10 on the heat scale.

Taste great but isn't very hot so I couldn't rate it a 5 star
