“Heat: ??/10. So here is the thing: not only did I take a straight drop or two, but my wife (not a chilli person) did too, and we had almost no heat. Shook the bottle a bunch, still no heat?? I am a bit miffed. I wish there was more to say, but both of us couldn't get much heat. Taste: 7/10. A good taste, just very different. A very earthy plum taste overall. Probably Asian cuisine would be good, like dumplings and there plum sauce for dipping.”

“I think the heat and flavor of this sauce is super unique and just perfect. However, you have to use it on the write food. I think it's easily overwhelmed by pizza (maybe i just wasn't using enough but it's a pricey bottle so I was using it sparingly). However, it really sings on chow mein, kung pao chicken, or just bare chicken breast! Would recommend :)”

“While it's heat is debatable because of how subjective that is, it's other ingredients come together into a refreshing blend. And not just refreshing like, 'it's new!', refreshing as in the taste! People often talk about the heat of a hot sauce, and I get it, that's a big deal in hot sauces, but if you also appreciate the taste that accompanies the heat, then the Charcoal Ghost is for you. The product description wasn't kidding when it mentioned the mystery of the flavour. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'd say it has a very addicting zest to it, like citrus. That added to it's spiciness, making it a delectable sauce that you just can't get enough of. TL;DR Look at the stars I gave it.”

“Ordered this sauce due to a recommendation from a friend. the sauce arrived perfectly intact, speedy deliver, heatonist is amazing quality! however, the sauce has no bite. i thought maybe there might of been a reaction during transportation or maybe all the heat settled to the bottom. after mixing it in the bottle very well, the flavor opened up even more, but still no heat. a little disappointing.”

“Surely the Ghost Pepper seems scary and a tall task, but this sauce is just amazing. It has a fantastic color not seen in hot sauces: BLACK! Looks aside, the flavor of this is unmistakably ghost but with the habanero as well there is that fruity flavor to go with the smokiness. Add in some flavors of black plum and tangerine juice and this sauce jumps out at you. I bought it at the Hot Sauce Expo back in April, I'm almost done with it. Will buy more ASAP.”
