Doesnt take up much space packed away and could easily be taken on holiday or trips away. If the mood ever takes me to spend serious money on a chess set, Jaques is where Ill be looking.”

“Well done Jacques of London. Everything about this is fabulous. I love it. The only reason it loses a star is because the of hinges.When the board is set out to play the hinges lift the middle of the board. A small niggle I know but one which could be easily rectified with different hinges.”
“Chess set is made to a high standard. Pieces are secured well in the elasticated carry compartment inside the chest board making it easy to transport. The finish on the board and chess piece is to a good standard. Would recommend this it as a present the why it is packaged is to a very nice level.”
