“The packaging was better than the product. Scratches on almost every side of the board which alot of other reviews also confirmed. Was hoping this wasnt the case but there you are. The last thing a customer should worry about after the high acclaim they give themselves.”
“I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend and after opening it Christmas day, and playing a couple of games I noticed what looked like glue marks and imperfections on the board. I was a bit unhappy, while its not the most expensive chess set it its made by a really good manufacturer who have a long history with chess sets. Their customer service has been second to none and Ive now got a replacement on the way.Other than that, the chess set is amazing and I like the fact that the pieces are competition pieces.”
