About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “The board is larger than expected, but not so large that one person couldn’t carry carefully when full of a part finished jig-saw. It oozes quality, with strong Velcro fastenings. The large jig-saw area is padded beautifully and I’m sure will be a joy to work on by a number of people at one time. It looks to be a good investment for our community social evenings at our village hall.”
