About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Greetings, My jigsaw puzzle mat was delivered faster than expected and well protected even if the black plastic protection wrap was not as thick as I would think. This is a very elegant piece. I chose Jacques for its reputation for quality, on the basis of positive reviews and because it is easy to use and store as well.”

“The Jacques Jigsaw Board is excellent, so much so that this is our second purchase; now our children have one each. Some highlights: *It easily fits 1000-piece puzzles. *The space around the puzzle and on the removable puzzle mat interiors is ample for more than half the pieces. *The pieces don't slip or slide about, though that does mean the material attracts hair and puzzle dust, but nothing a lint cleaner can't sort out between puzzles (https://uk.muji.eu/products/cleaning-system-carpet-cleaner-429).”
