About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Works well for different size puzzles - I mainly do 1000 piece ones which fit fine on the centre board. Also has spare smaller boards for sorting pieces on or using for other puzzles. Really good to be able to put it away mid puzzle then go back to it later, just fold it up then stand against the wall or under the settee - means my dining table can still be used for eating from!”
