About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “This is a great product, very good value for money. The board looks and feels high quality. It works very well at keeping the puzzle pieces in place with its non-slip surfaces, both while putting the jigsaw together and when folded up. It can be stored flat or upright, without disturbing the jigsaw.”

“Just love this puzzle board. Seemed like a lot of money but definitely worth the investment - makes it possible to do your jigsaw anywhere. Good quality and no problems with the felt as it lies flat, and has just the right traction to hold the pieces steady but allowing them to be moved around if necessary. Slim enough to slide under a bed/sofa when not in use. Only comment is that the two movable leaves are not big enough to take 1000 pieces at the start of doing the puzzle. I needed to use both boards plus the attached 2 leaves to spread out the pieces but then you can’t fold the board up. Perhaps it would be useful if there was the option to purchase 2 extra leaves.”
