About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “this is a beautiful well made toy. My grandson is just one year and he loves putting the animals inside. It will be great when he is old enough to shape sort as well. Also Jaques customer service is definitely 5 star, they respond so quickly and communication is great.”

“I purchased this for my 1yr old great grandson, all looked good , bright colours there are 2 faily small pieces with birds on that as with all little ones went straight to the mouth , so these had to be taken away, the biggest disappointment was that the ark itself kept falling apart , the side with the posting holes kept falling off , which was slightly embarrassing especially when my granddaughter said don't worry we can put a bit of wood glue on it. Not what I would have expected to do on a quality toy.”
