About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “This is such a brilliant toy to buy. Well made, colourful, and certainly better than all those plastic toys for sale nnmost stores. This is a quality product and well worth the price of £21.99 (sale price).the 1 year old girl I purchased it for loves the Ark.”

“Product was exactly as described and looked excellent quality. Only let down by the packaging no outer box meaning the gifted box was handed over looking a little beaten up, which is a shame for a birthday gift.”

“This is a quality handmade piece. The wooden animals are so lovely. I was impressed with the drawbridge, it is attached by elastic which is easier for little hands to use. It comes beautifully wrapped in a box with ribbon. Unfortunately my item arrived damaged. I contacted Jaques and they were very apologetic and sent me an immediate replacement.”
