About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Bought for our toddler 2nd birthday. This is a really lovely well made wooden toy. There are plenty of little animals to walk in and out of the arc, a removable roof, a little door on a hinge for the animals to walk in and some shape sorter holes for pushing animals through.Weve had lots of fun playing with this and it has also taken a bit of rough play and is surviving so far.Came in a nice box so would make a really good gift.”

“Bought as a gift with the Noahs Ark bible story.Little bit disappointed as the finish on the ark wasnt as expected but the animal shapes to sort and play with were colourful and good size for little fingers”
