About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Ordered as a gift for my 2 year old as a reward for great potty training efforts. It arrived today 4th March 2022. We love JOL and have many of their toys, but this has arrived damaged with split wood on top of the Ark. I cant see an option to contact the seller, but Ive seen other reviews saying the same about the quality but gave the toy the benefit of the doubt as Ive never had a bad experience until now. A great toy, just a shame about the damage when its quite pricey.”

“My daughter loved this for my granddaughter. Its a great gift, durable looks good and little one was immediately picking it up and playing 7 months at the time But with lots to learn from it”
