About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Ive never received an item so beautifully packaged! I bought this for my Daughters 1st Birthday and I didnt want her to open it as the packaging was so lovely. Great price for a lovely wooden toy, My Daughter is kept busy for hours playing with it. I would definitely buy this again as a gift and highly recommend it if youre searching for a present for a young child.”

“We purchased it during offer. But highly recommending this brand as this wooden toy is in great quality no splits, no discolourationand good learning toy for toddler. Animals are in super shapes and sizes so no worries about chocking, also great teething toy”

“Beautifully made in wood and good value for money. At the moment our one year old grandson likes inspecting the shapes of the pieces and putting them in the arc. Later on as he develops he will be able to sort them as shapes and post them through the slots. Very pleased with the purchase.”

“Great quality and great price. Its my 18 month olds favourite toy at the moment and its helping him know all his animals too. Only complaint is that it arrived slightly damaged with a bit of the ark broken off. Was an easy fix with some superglue but was probably due to the delivery driver launching it over my garden fence...”
