“We just purchased and installed this door. The programmed open/close time seems to work well, but I can’t figure out how the WiFi works (can’t find the app anywhere). The door does not sense anything in the way (my shoe was nicely munched in the door testing it) and reopen. It also doesn’t seem to open a second time to ensure all of the chickens are in or out. I’m sure there is a way to program this, but the instructions are light. Can anyone assist? Thanks!”
“My chickens got caught outside once when the door shut at sunset. They learn in a hurry not to do that again. Very dependable. I don't even go check it anymore.”
“Great product. A little pricy. This is my second auto door - I moved. I don’t have electricity out to my coop for this go round, but batteries seem to last a reasonable time, I’m using my first batteries after month. I have never had a problem. Customer service is ok too.”
“This is our first time purchase of an automated chicken door and we love it. We have had it about 2 months now, installed and works great! Saves the family from having to go down each morning/night and manually let the chickens out. We set it up with the GPS coordinates of 45 minutes after/before sunset and works great. So far no chicken has been locked out.”

This must be an old batch of controllers they are trying to use up before upgrading. You have to set latitude and longitude to and then adjust time you want door to open before and after sunset. I entered what I got off Google Earth and it opened at 12am and closed at 12pm....so I cleared the numbers to zero and then adjusted the time to fit. I think it is going to work, but that reminds me of the old way we had to do things.....”
