“Applebottom is my baby. She is my current flock favorite and she knows it. She waits for me to pick her up every single time and she will sit on/with me until she has to poop (and the fact that she won’t poop on me makes me love her more). I love her feathers, her legs have fur boots, she is literally the sweetest out of all my girls. Ugh. Cannot say enough about her. I love her to pieces.”

“This bird is so sweet, docile, and friendly. You will NOT regret having this one in your flock. She greets everyone first. I did not originally order her, but I am so glad they sent this breed in place of the one I originally wanted (blue copper marans). I’ve never raised chickens in my life, but have so many friends with chickens. This breed is definitely the addition any new chicken family will want to consider.”

“In April I placed a mixed order of 8 from you guys, including 2 splash Marans. They all arrived healthy and happy but I did lose one Maran at around two weeks. My Maran named Sadie laid her first egg today and I am so excited!! She is the shyest of my group but really sweet and she is my rooster Cletus’ favorite hen.
