“Chicks arrived healthy with exception of 1. The chick had a fractured leg (we had it examined by a veterinarian,) and it had to be euthanized.
We have not yet been reimbursed for the chick.”
We are incredibly sorry to hear about the little one who had a leg injury. It sounds like you had to make a very difficult decision. “My two Golden Buffs (named by my granddaughter as Pecky and Clucky) are my favorite chickens ever and I have had chickens since 1999. I received these as day old chicks in May of 22. Not only are they the best layers, everyone else is molting and stopped laying right now, these two are still doing their job, they are the friendliest birds I have ever had. They loved to be picked up and held by the kiddos and never argue about it! I will for sure be ordering more of these chicks for spring of 24!”
