It demanded logical thinking on their behalf. How to measure, record accurately and decipher whether a record had been created, if it was valid and how to record it.

We found this unit provided opportunities for our children to negotiate, collaborate, take turns, lead, follow instructions and work alongside children they may otherwise not work with. Many different opportunities for us as teachers to help facilitate relationship skills have arisen from this unit.

What was the most unique record achieved and why?
Furtherest hoola hoop roll with your right hand while sitting facing backwards on a chair. This was a really entertaining activity and one that offered the most variation in results from 30 cm to 15m.

For our children it was mostly around relationships and how they respond to each other when giving commands or instructions and how they used initiative or problem solved when things didn't go as planned.
